Training

Senior medical students, nursing students and health visitor students are often attached to the practice. They are always closely supervised and will be clearly identified to you as students. You have the right to decline to be treated in the presence of a student: nevertheless your co-operation in enhancing their medical training would be greatly appreciated. The practice is committed to improving medical education at all levels. Drs Rutland, Gladwin and Snell are all qualified Trainers.

Other Doctors

The practice also employs locums and assistants on short term contract as the need arises. These doctors will always be fully qualified and accredited to work in general practice. In addition there are usually several longer term GP Registrars attached. The Registrars are qualified doctors who are undertaking specialist training in general practice.
